KEEP CULTURAL HERITAGE FOR ALL OF US
The Italian law states that for every picture of Italian cultural heritage
that is displayed, also for no-profit cultural sharing purposes, should be
payed for. This can be a serious obstacle to the development of the Virtual
Museums on the Internet network.
This law deals, however, not only with Italian heritage, but general western cultural heritage. From Italy to the USA, all our culture
is, among others, based on the Roman legacy. This legacy is certainly not something "owned"
by an Italian, modern, government. It is a legacy to all the people, and they should all be
allowed to look at its marvels for free.
Protest against this mislegislation!
